Mental Health by Mobile GP

A large proportion of homeless people are faced with mental health issues. Whether these are the cause of a person becoming homeless or the result of a person being homeless, mental health issues keep people trapped in the homeless lifestyle.

As part of dealing with the health issues of homeless people, their mental health issues must be addressed.

To complement the work that our General Practitioners do, we have Community Mental Health Nurses who provide ongoing support to patients of Mobile GP.

In the future, we hope to have a Psychiatrist to further improve the management of mental health issues in homeless people.
