Having grown up in Perth, Andrew trained at the University of Western Australia. On completion of training Andrew spent eight years in the Public Hospital system including time in the North West of Western Australia and the Northern Territory. During this time Andrew gained considerable experience in Paediatric, Psychiatric Medicine and Aboriginal Health. Since entering the General Practice Training Program and becoming a General Practitioner Andrew has gained considerable experience working with homeless and marginalised people. It is his vision not only to improve the health of homeless and marginalised people but to provide education to other health professionals and trainees regarding the healthcare needs of this proportion of our population.
Arnold has been in general practice, in Kelmscott, since 1965 except for 6 years spent in rural practice in Beverley during 1980 and 1986.Over this time he had a particular interest in anaesthetics and obstetrics but over the last 10 years has concentrated on general medical practice and musculoskeletal medicine. He retired from active general practice in June 2010.
Catherine graduated from UWA in 2004 and intially worked at Fremantle Hosptial and then Princess Margaret Hospital prior to commencing her GP training. During her training Catherine worked in Albany and Geraldton and outer metropolitan Perth. Catherine completed her GP training in 2009 and works part time in a private GP clinic. She has always had an interest in working with teenagers, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Working with Mobile GP enables her to work in this area of interest, and help improve the health of those that do not have the privilages that a lot of us take for granted.
David graduated in medicine from the University of Western Australia in 1971. He worked at Royal Perth Hospital & Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane before returning to University to study law at the University of WA. After doing articles at Kott Gunning lawyers, he practised as a common lawyer in WA for 19 years. He returned to hospital medicine in 1998.
David did his GP training with WAGPET between 2004-2008. Since which, he has worked at various hospitals and medical centres around the country including South Kingsville, Vic. His interest in taking primary healthcare to marginalised populations and the way health, housing and social issues affect homeless people, was increased while in British Columbia, Quebec & England during 2010.
